Oxygen Greenlights Paris Hilton Docu-Series

NEW YORK: Paris Hilton takes the spotlight in a new untitled docu-series for Oxygen from A. Smith & Co. Productions, the company behind the hits Hell’s Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares.

The project aims to show the heiress’s life beyond what is shown in the tabloids. The series follows Hilton and three important women in her life: her friend Brooke Mueller, Charlie Sheen’s wife; Jennifer Rovero, who once dated Fred Durst and is Hilton’s photographer; and Allison Melnick, one of Hilton’s closest pals who is a major player in the L.A. nightlife scene. Also a big part of her life, and the show, is Kathy Hilton, her mom.

Amy Introcaso-Davis, the senior VP of original programming and development, said, “Paris is magnetic in such a way that viewers are naturally curious about her and think they know her based on what they see in the media.” Introcaso-Davis added, “We’re looking to truly bring an all-encompassing look at her life, friends, family and relationships, all that’s not represented every day. It’s going to be a fascinating journey.”
