OWN Lines Up Royal Wedding Specials

LOS ANGELES: OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network has two 90-minutes specials, Prince William & Catherine: A Royal Love Story, with part one slated for April 9 and part two airing May 12, post-nuptials. 

The first installment, airing April 9 at 8 p.m., features the details of the couple’s meeting and the romance leading up to the engagement. Part two provides unprecedented access to the Royal Wedding, with footage from the actual event. The second part will air on May 12 at 8 p.m. 

“Everyone loves a happy ending, but a romance that ends with a royal wedding is absolutely irresistible,” said Lisa Erspamer, the chief creative officer at OWN. “These two specials give viewers the opportunity to see inside the fairytale lives of a prince and an ordinary girl, and their chemistry that is fit for a king.”
