Outdoor Channel, Time Warner Reach Carriage Deal

NEW YORK, June 14: The Outdoor Channel has reached a new
basic cable carriage deal with Time Warner Cable, averting the platform’s
previous plan to drop the network in some markets or move it to a premium
package.

Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. The
channel said only that the deal “preserves the bulk of The Outdoor Channel's
distribution, and provides a framework for potential expansion with Time Warner
Cable.”

Perry T. Massie, president and CEO of Outdoor Channel
Holdings, noted, "We are pleased to have reached an agreement with Time
Warner that is expected to be beneficial to both parties in the long term, and
we look forward to a closer working relationship with one of the premier cable
operators for the benefit of our mutual subscribers. While we believe this
agreement will ultimately increase our distribution on Time Warner Cable
systems, we recognize that it may take a period of time for our Nielsen
universe estimates to fully reflect its effects and potential benefits."

Nielsen Media Research estimates The Outdoor Channel's reach
to be about 26.6 million homes.
