TEMECULA: Ten fresh shows are set to debut in the Outdoor Channel’s celebrity-packed summer lineup, along with 73 programs returning with new episodes.

Many of the programs will feature celebrity hosts and all content on the channel will air in HD.

Actor Joe Mantegna is hosting the first season of the gun history show MidwayUSA’s Gun Stories, and NASCAR’s Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Kevin Harvick will make appearances in the first season of the hunting show Realtree’s NASCAR Outdoors. The hunting show Grateful Nation will be hosted by actor Tim Abell, in an unscripted look at America’s disabled veterans.

Also debuting is Headhunters TV, a show that gives viewers a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the making of Outdoor Channel programs. Moltrie’s The Hit List, in which teams hunt deer, and Scentblocker Most Wanted, a crime-scene investigation show, are both competitive reality series. Primitive Instinct features professional hunter Gregg Ritz’s adventures in harsh conditions, and Team Elk features a traveling team out to capture the biggest game.

The channel’s returning programs will have all new episodes and include Spanish Fly, Bassmasters, Benelli Presents Duck Commander, Bone Collector, Buck Commander Protected by Under Armour, Craig Morgan: All Access Outdoors, Jim Shockey’s The Professionals, The Crush with Lee & Tiffany, Realtree Road Trips with Michael Waddell and Ducks Unlimited.
