Osiris Entertainment Readies Slate for MIPCOM

LOS ANGELES: Independent film distributor Osiris Entertainment is readying itself for MIPCOM with a range of films covering all genres, including Bunnyman and The Fall, among others.

Bunnyman is the story of a group of friends who get lost in Southern California while returning from a weekend Las Vegas trip. They find themselves at the mercy of a cannibal killer who dresses in a bunny suit.

The Fall is a drama mystery about an underachiever who needs his ambitious older brother Frank to help after he is accused of murder. Frank must decide what to do when the evidence could end his hope of being governor.

Cayman West is the story of TV personality Josh Anders and stars Michael Lombardi (Rescue Me). Anders finds himself in the middle of a land grab scheme of the Caribbean island of Cayman Brac.

Clear Lake tells the story of a 1994 witch-hunt in the small town of Clear Lake, Wisconsin after citizens fall victim to a terrible disease. A local preacher blames the outbreak on supernatural punishment against sinners and chaos ensues.

“As a filmmaker, I understand the very specific business needs of the independent filmmaking community as well as the appetite for quality film entertainment across the broadcast and DVD markets,” said Evan Crooke, the CEO of Osiris Entertainment. “MIPCOM 2011 is an important market for our company and we look forward to presenting our titles to broadcast programmers and DVD buyers across the world.”
