ohm:tv Widens Mobile Video Distribution

COLOGNE: ohm:tv’s comedy VOD portal LOKO is to launch on Swedish mobile operator TeliaSonera’s Surfport.

This deal expands ohm:tv’s distribution of mobile content in Europe, where it already has partnerships with more than 20 mobile operators such as Hutchinson 3G in Austria, Italy, Sweden and Denmark as well as Vodafone and Orange in selected territories. ohm:tv also offers a selection of its animation catalogue on online video portals such as YouTube, Dailymotion and Joost, amongst others.

LOKO, dedicated to cartoon comedy, features cult series from indie studios worldwide. The LOKO VOD service will be accessible on TeliaSonera’s mobile portal Surfport, offering a wide range of short-form animated content. Titles include Petey and Jaydee from Momentum Studios, Bernard and The Imp from BRB and Blood Red from Zactoons.
