ohm:tv Slates MIPCOM Highlights

COLOGNE: ohm:tv is preparing to present a range of formats, such as the reality shows Sell Me Your Style, EXPAT$ and Lonely Hearts Club, at this year’s MIPCOM.

Available to buyers at the market is the new fashion format Sell Me Your Style, co-created by Bob Barber and ohm:tv. Contestants with money they’ve won from a series of questions approach unsuspecting passersby and haggle to buy the clothes off their backs.

Created by ORF and Cosmos Factory, the format Lonely Hearts Club is in its 15th season. The series is about searching for the perfect partner. The adult lifestyle series Who Are You Sleeping With? is a look into human sexual nature. It was created by Venus O’Hara and ohm:tv.

Also on offer is EXPAT$, created by Moving Target Media. EXPAT$ is a competition between four people for the ultimate dream job abroad with only one winner. The Imposter, a family reality series created Pausoka Entertainment, combines reality and game show genres.

Joris Eckelkamp, the managing director of ohm:tv, said, “The TV business is changing dramatically. Young viewers’ interests are now increasingly focusing on the online market so therefore the ideas for TV have to be more creative. With our new formats in the genres of dating, lifestyle and reality we have found the right balance and approach in line with our strategy to provide fresh and innovative programming.”
