Oasis Shores Up Deals for Iggy Arbuckle

LOS ANGELES/TORONTO,
January 31: Oasis International has secured a number of deals with broadcasters
worldwide for the animated children’s series Iggy Arbuckle, which is produced by Blueprint Entertainment in
association with National Geographic Kids Entertainment.

The show was picked up by
Canal + and TPS in France, Cartoon Network in Southeast Asia, Korea, the
Philippines, Australia/New Zealand and India as well as the Australian
Broadcasting Corporation. These broadcasters join Jetix Europe, who acquired the European pay-TV rights (with the exception of
free-TV distribution rights in Germany and all French-speaking rights), and
home video and consumer product agency rights for all European Jetix channels,
as well as the U.S. channel Animania, a Voom HD Network. Iggy
Arbuckle
is distributed
internationally by Oasis in conjunction with National Geographic Television
International and has now been licensed in more than 70 territories, with
numerous deals still in the works.

The series, aimed at
children aged 6 to 11, follows the adventures of a piglet named Iggy, a nature
lover whose mission in life it to protect and care for the Kookamunga National
Park. Iggy Arbuckle currently
airs in Canada on TELETOON.
