Novelty Books Set for Hero:108

LOS ANGELES, October 7:
Taffy Entertainment has secured an agreement with Atlantyca Entertainment’s
content-publishing division to produce a line of tween- and teen-targeted novelty
books based on the new animated series Hero:108.

The 2-D/flash-animated
series, set to debut in 2009, follows the adventures of a group of brave young
defenders who are determined to end a conflict between animals and humans in
The Hidden Kingdom. The Hero:108 books
will go more in-depth into the stories that are featured in the series.

Taffy already has a deal
in place with the new Atlantyca division for books loosely based on its Code
Lyoko
TV series.

"This book series has
enormous breakout potential with its intended audience," said Cynthia
Money, the president of worldwide consumer products and marketing for Taffy
Entertainment. "The initial concepts we've seen from Atlantyca are very
innovative; truly unlike anything else that now exists in the category. The TV
series is poised for success when it hits the airwaves next year and we're
looking forward to continuing the momentum when these books go on sale."

"Taffy Entertainment
continues to bring some of the most unique and exciting animated series to the
marketplace and we are excited to help further extend the characters through
our own storytelling," added Pietro Marietti, the chairman of Atlantyca
Entertainment.
