Novel Entertainment Signs DVD Deal for Horrid Henry

OXFORD, January 25: Abbey
Home Entertainment has acquired the U.K. DVD rights to Novel Entertainment’s
CiTV animated series Horrid Henry.

Horrid Henry, based on the Horrid Henry books created by Francesca Simon, currently
broadcasts on the CiTV channel and on ITV1. Featuring six 11-minute episodes,
the DVDs are slated to begin rolling out this spring. To date, 7.5 million
copies of the books have been sold in the U.K. alone. Last year, Novel
Entertainment also signed a licensing agreement for Horrid Henry with Copyright Promotions.
