Nick/MTVN Kids and Family Group Ups Business Development Exec

NEW YORK, December 19: Nickelodeon/MTVN Kids and Family
Group has promoted Samantha Greene Woodruff to VP of strategy and business
development from her role as senior director.

Woodruff will support senior management in the development
of long-range strategy plans for the various brands within the Nickelodeon/MTVN
Kids and Family Group, including Nickelodeon, Nick at Nite, The N, Noggin,
Nicktoons Network and its entire digital portfolio. She will be responsible for
identifying, analyzing and recommending new business opportunities, as well as
providing long-term strategic analysis and vision for the brands’ existing
lines of business such as digital, recreation, consumer products and magazines,
among others.

Beginning her career with MTV Networks in 1998 as a research
and planning analyst for TV Land, Woodruff has moved up the ranks and most
recently served as the senior director of strategy and business development
first for the Nickelodeon Magazine Group and then for the Nickelodeon Kids and
Family Group. She played a key role in the recent Nickelodeon Resorts by
Marriott agreement, where Nickelodeon and Marriott International will
conceptualize and co-develop a new lodging resort brand for the traveling
family.

"Samantha has proven to be an asset in terms of our
brand development, helping us expand in the digital, magazine and family travel
segments," said Dominique Crosby, the senior VP of strategy and business
development for Nickelodeon/MTVN Kids and Family Group. "She was instrumental
in last year’s acquisition of Quizilla, an online site for teen girls, and will
continue to be a major contributor to our long-range planning efforts."
