NickMom Builds Up Development Slate

BEVERLY HILLS: Nick Jr.’s NickMom comedy block has several new series on its development slate, including a project executive produced by Whoopi Goldberg.

Lounge (working title) is a talk/variety series from Goldberg. The show will feature raw, honest and humorous conversations between everyday moms. Also on the development roster is Country Mom, City Mom (working title). The docu-comedy is executive produced by Relativity Real. It follows Tanya McQueen (Picker Sisters), who splits her time between raising two teen boys in a small town in Texas and living in L.A. with her second husband and his kids.

Also in development is Undercover Cupid (working title), executive produced by Scott Stone (The Man Show). The hidden-camera series follows single parents whose kids—either teens or young adults—pick eligible dates for them. There is also an untitled Vinnie Brand project, featuring Vinnie Brand, a father to five daughters.

The network has given a second season to Take Me To Your Mother for NickMom. The docu-comedy stars Andrea Rosen.
