Nickelodeon UK to Air Season Two of The Bopps

LONDON: Season two of the in-house produced Nickelodeon UK kids’ show The Bopps is to premiere June 27.

The series will air every day at 7:35 a.m. on Nick Jr. on the Wake Up World morning block.

The live-action sing-along show stars Stan Cullimore (Stan Bopp)—former member of the ’80s British pop group The Housemartins—and Keith Littler (Keith Bopp), a kids’ TV producer. The Bopps episodes are comprised of sketch comedy and musical performances aimed at preschoolers.

The album from season one ranked at number one on the Amazon Children’s Chart and The Bopps will be performing at festivals and in theaters in the U.K. this summer.

“I can’t wait to see what kids think of this new show,” Cullimore said. “I think it’s funnier, sillier and boppier than ever before and I just hope they agree.”

Littler added, “This has been a spontaneous and wonderfully collaborative project from the very beginning…. I’m very excited and hopeful that everyone will enjoy it.”
