LONDON/NEW YORK: Mark Kingston has been appointed to the newly created post of VP of Europe licensing, retail sales and trade marketing at Nickelodeon Consumer Products.

Kingston will work to establish, build and manage the company’s European key account strategy. He will be based in London. In addition to developing and driving Nickelodeon Consumer Products’ pan-European strategy and expansion, Kingston will head up regional licensing programs with key partners, working in close partnership with local MTV Networks International channel networks and market heads. He will also be responsible for identifying and building new business regionally and, where appropriate, internationally and globally. In addition, Jason Easy has been named senior retail manager for Nickelodeon Consumer Products in the U.K. Also based in London, Easy will report to both Trudi Hayward, the VP for the U.K. and Australia, and Jeremy Poreca, the retail sales and trade marketing director. Easy will oversee the day-to-day management of retail accounts and carry out the strategic direction set by the U.K. VP and director of sales. Easy will also be developing relationships with licensee sales representatives as well as buyers and senior buyers across all categories at assigned retail partners.

“Mark comes to us with a wealth of retail account management expertise and his appointment reflects the aggressive investment we’re making as an organisation as a whole but particularly in the retail arena,” commented Connolly. “These new and recent appointments we’ve made to our team, combined with our extensive and diverse portfolio of properties, puts NCP firmly on track to take our consumer products business to the next level.”
