Networks Asia and Eastern Broadcasting Co.’s Eastern Television (ETTV) have
joined forces to launch YoYo Nick, a
three-hour Mandarin-language programming block for kids in Taiwan.

The Nickelodeon-branded block, launching September 18, will
feature Mandarin-language versions of Dora the Explorer, ChalkZone and SpongeBob SquarePants
in prime time. The block will be available to more than 4.6 million households
across Taiwan via ETTV’s dedicated children’s channel, YoYo TV. It will air
Monday to Friday.

Bobby Yuan, the GM of MTV Networks Taiwan, remarked,
”Following the successful launch of Jimmy Neutron on YoYo TV in 2005, audiences have been longing for more Nickelodeon
