Nicely Entertainment to Launch Crossroad Springs at MIPCOM

Nicely Entertainment will be launching global sales for the new series Crossroad Springs at MIPCOM.

Season one of the family drama, which debuted on Great American Family and Super Channel in the U.S. and Canada, respectively, is a partnership between Nicely Entertainment and Brain Power Studios. Vanessa Shapiro and Beth Stevenson are executive producers.

“We have been fortunate to collaborate with our incredible partners at Brain Power Studios and Great American Family,” Shapiro, CEO and founder of Nicely, said. “The U.S. launch of Crossroad Springs has exceeded all expectations. With such a warm reception from audiences, we are now in the exciting position of bringing season one with a total of ten 60-minute premium episodes to the global market. This series combines inspiring themes with commercial appeal, making it a strong fit for buyers worldwide.”

“It has been incredibly rewarding to see both test audiences and viewers connect so deeply with Crossroad Springs,” said Stevenson, founder and CEO of Brain Power Studios. “We look forward to working with Nicely and Great American Family to bring future episodes to audiences around the world.”

The series follows adult siblings James and Janet and their aging family members, dad Willis and aunt Amy. James, a pastor in Chicago, and Janet, an ER doctor in a neighboring town, feel called to return home to help Willis and Amy with Hamilton Ranch, which is struggling with financial hardships and staffing shortages. As they settle in, James realizes there are no places to worship on the thousands of acres of farms in the town, so he starts a cowboy church.

The cast features Jonathan Stoddard (A Country Music Christmas), Emily Alatalo (Christmas in Maple Hills), Shaun Johnston (Heartland), Kate Drummond (Heartland), Brittany Underwood (Exes of Christmas Past), Jesse Hutch (A Little Women’s Christmas), Jon McLaren (When Hope Calls, Sappy Holiday), Erin Agostino (The Jingle Bell Jubilee) and Franco Lo Presti (Bad Blood).

Crossroad Springs is produced by Jessica Reis and directed by Marco Deufemia and Paula Tiberius from an original teleplay by Tiberius.
