WASHINGTON, D.C., March
18: National Geographic Television International (NGTI) has inked new deals for

territories.

The company’s recent slew of deals include sales to Disney in Japan, SVT

TVB in Hong Kong, E-Junior in United Arab Emirates, Ho Chi Minh City TV in
Vietnam and Al Jazeera in the Middle East. There are also deals pending in a
number of other territories, including Spain, South Africa and Scandinavia.

These broadcasters add to the company’s initial sales of the series
announced last year to Playhouse Disney in Australia and New Zealand, Tiji France,
the Hop Channel in Israel and TV12 in Singapore.

Are We There Yet? World Adventure, created, produced and
written by Sinking Ship Entertainment for National Geographic Kids
Entertainment, sees young sibling duos travel the globe, unpredictable way,
experiencing local events and festivals, visiting prominent landmarks and
getting up close and personal with indigenous wildlife. Countries visited in
season one included Canada, Peru, the U.K., India, Germany and Mexico.

Treehouse commissioned a second season at the end of last year, bringing
the total number of episodes available to 26×21 minutes or 78×7 minutes.

“We are thrilled with these sales thus far, it’s a fantastic launch for
the series,” said Blair Powers, the executive producer and partner at Sinking
Ship Entertainment. “It’s gratifying to know that the show we filmed around the
world will be seen all around the world too.”
