Next New Networks Joins Forces with MySpace

NEW YORK, February 8: Next
New Networks, the new online entertainment company co-founded by former
Nickelodeon president and MTV Networks vice chairman Herb Scannell, will offer
a menu of regular video programming on MySpaceTV, which users can embed in their
profiles or share with friends.

Under the partnership,
each micro-network will have a presence on a branded channel home page. Next
New Networks will offer a minimum of 20 episodes per branded channel at launch,
with new episodes to be added regularly. Each of the Next New Networks’ pages
will be included in the featured channel rotation on MySpaceTV as well as on
the MySpace mobile platforms.

The networks include
Barely Political, with sexy political comedy; EPIC-FU, a pop-culture
destination; Fast Lane Daily, which provides daily auto news; and Ultra Kawaii,
featuring adorable pets.

“Within MySpace there are
thousands of communities,” said Scannell, the CEO and co-founder of Next New
Networks. “Our Next New Networks programming superserves specific communities
of enthusiasts from Indy Mogul for filmmakers to Fast Lane Daily for a daily
dose of car news and Threadbanger for DIY fashion fans to name just a few. Our
programming is tailor-made for the MySpace users who are looking for video
programming that aligns with their passions.”
