New Syndication Deals for Made in Hollywood

LAS VEGAS: The syndicated entertainment magazine series Made in Hollywood has been sold by Connection III Entertainment to station groups such as CBS and CW Plus for the 2010-2011 season.

The show is available in more than 80 percent of U.S. households. The CBS Television Stations group renewed its 21-market deal for both Made in Hollywood and Made in Hollywood: Teen Edition. CW Plus picked up Made in Hollywood: Teen Edition for its fifth season. These deals complement Connection III’s sales to stations in the Hearst, Belo, Tribune, McGraw Hill, Gannett, Lin and Meredith broadcast groups.

“We’re looking forward to adding the unique E/I program Made in Hollywood: Teen Edition to our lineup of CW affiliates this fall,” said Russell Myerson, the executive VP and general manager for CW Plus. “It’s refreshing to acquire a series that hits the mark and truly qualifies as fresh, original FCC-Friendly programming.”

“These sales to CBS and CW Plus demonstrate the strong station group appeal of both Made in Hollywood and Made in Hollywood: Teen Edition," commented Cleveland O’Neal III, the founder, president and CEO of Connection III Entertainment. "These commitments from two preeminent station groups are indicative of the growing popularity and success of the Made in Hollywood brand.”
