New Stop-Motion Animation for Adult Swim

ATLANTA: Cartoon Network’s late-night destination Adult Swim is working with the creators of its hit series Robot Chicken on a new stop-motion animation, Titan Maximum, slated for a September premiere.

Created by Robot Chicken producer/co-head writer/director Tom Root and executive producer/co-creator/writer/director Matthew Senreich, Titan Maximum uses stop-motion animation to bring a 1980s-inspired action cartoon to life. Seth Green, the exec producer, co-creator, writer and director of Robot Chicken, will voice the new show’s villain. Created in conjunction with ShadowMachine Films’ Alex Bulkley and Corey Campodonico, the series also features the voice acting of Breckin Meyer, Rachael Leigh Cook, Dan Milano and Eden Espinosa.

Set 100 years in the future, the show focuses on Titan Force Five, an elite squadron of young, brash pilots, defending Saturn’s moon Titan, whose spaceships combine to form the giant robot Titan Maximum.
