New Showtime Original Gets Advanced Screening on Netflix

LOS ANGELES, January 5:
The new Showtime Networks original series United States of Tara, starring Toni Collette and John Corbett, will be
available on Netflix on January 8, two weeks ahead of its premium cable
premiere.

Created by Academy
Award-winning screenwriter Diablo Cody (Juno), United States of Tara stars Collette as a suburban wife and mother
struggling with dissociative identity disorder. The show is executive produced
by Cody, Steven Spielberg, Justin Falvey, Darryl Frank and Alexa Junge, and
will premiere on Showtime on January 18 at 10 p.m.

In addition to United
States of Tara
, season premieres
of Showtime's The L Word and Secret Diary of a Call Girl will be available to Netflix subscribers on
January 18, the same day as their network debuts.

The new shows will be
available throughout the month of January, and can be streamed on PCs,
Intel-based Macs and TVs connected to a number of Netflix-ready devices.
