New Shows Heading to TEN in 2009

SYDNEY, November 10: TEN
in Australia has unveiled its 2009 lineup, which features a host of
international series, including Merlin and
Life on Mars, as well as new and
returning Australian fare.

TEN has also picked up the
live and exclusive rights to the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland. The
deal covers all broadcast, new-media and radio rights. TEN is also set to
broadcast the Commonwealth Games in Delhi in 2010.

New Australian series set
to air on TEN include MasterChef
Australia
, a cooking-competition series; Recruits, looking at what's required of the men and women who are
entrusted to uphold the law; Guerrilla
Gardeners
, featuring concrete spaces being made-over into green recreation
plots; and Undercover Boss, which
features the leader of a company heading back to work on the front line of the
business. Other Australian series for TEN are Talkin' 'bout My Generation, a comedy panel show; Australia's Hidden Genius, a nationwide
search for people with untapped intelligence; and Bondi Vet, an unscripted series that features a charismatic doctor
who is saving the lives of animals.

TEN is also slated to air
a number of international series, including Merlin,
a fantasy drama that launched on BBC One; Lie
to Me
, from the team behind 24 and
Arrested Development; Life on Mars, based on the BBC series
about a detective who is mysteriously transported back in time; and Little Britain USA, featuring familiar Little Britain characters in all-new
sketches set in contemporary America. Other international series headed to TEN
are Worst Week, a half-hour sitcom; Harper's Island, a 13-part mystery; and The Doctors, from the creative team
behind the long-running Dr. Phil
series.

Making their return to TEN
in 2009 are Dance Australia, Biggest Loser Australia and Australian Idol. Also returning to the
network are Rove, which heads into
its tenth season; Good News Week,
exposing a different side of local and world affairs; and Rush, set in a critical incident police unit. 2009 will also see the
return of Bondi Rescue, NCIS, House, Life, Supernatural, Law & Order: SVU, Numb3rs,
Medium, Dexter, The Simpsons, Californication and Law & Order: Criminal Intent. TEN'S daytime lineup will include
Oprah, Dr. Phil, Ready Steady, The Bold and the Beautiful, Huey's Cooking, Totally Wild, TEN News
and Judge Judy.
