LOS ANGELES: David Madden has been upped from executive VP of Fox Television Studios (FtvS) to president, replacing Emiliano Calemzuk, who resigned last week to become CEO of Shine Group Americas.

FtvS’s current cable hits include White Collar and Burn Notice on USA and The Glades on A&E. The studio also produces The Good Guy, a comedy for FOX, and The Games for ABC.

"David has been front and center throughout Fox Television Studios’ rise to its current position as one of the premiere brands in cable programming," said Gary Newman and Dana Walden, the chairmen of 20th Century Fox Television, in a joint statement. Madden will report to both Newman and Walden.
