New Original for Chinese Web Platform

SHANGHAI: The Chinese video website Tudou has launched its second Internet drama series, Utopia Office.

The series, which is targeted to the young, urban Chinese audience, follows a team of scientists charged to tackle a variety of science challenges in each episode. Utopia Office was written, produced and marketed by an in-house Tudou team, as part of the company’s “Orange Box” original production initiative in spring 2010. The show is set to run for 12 episodes, airing two episodes per week.
