New Original Drama for The N

NEW YORK, November 9: Production has begun on the
tentatively titled The Best Years, a new
original series from Blueprint Entertainment in association with CanWest
MediaWorks that will launch on the teen-targeted network The N in the U.S. and
Canada’s CH Television in the summer of 2007.

Production has begun in Toronto and will extend through
March 2007. The show is created and executive produced by Aaron Martin, who
served as head writer and show runner of Degrassi: The Next Generation. Blueprint Entertainment's Noreen Halpern and John
Morayniss will also serve as executive producers.

"The Best Years
will introduce our audience to the real-life drama of college life, including
the excitement and pressures that come with new found independence," said
Sarah Tomassi Lindman, the VP of programming and production at The N.
"Aaron Martin has a proven track record at writing compelling dramas like Degrassi and this show is sure to follow his past
success."

The Best Years
follows orphan Samantha Best as she starts her freshman year at the prestigious
Charles University in Massachusetts on a full scholarship.

Blueprint Entertainment controls distribution rights for the
series in all territories outside the U.S.
