New Licensees for Dinosaur King

LONDON: 4Kids Entertainment’s Dinosaur King, which is set to launch in its second season in the U.K. on GMTV on November 1, has five new licensees on board.

Signature Publishing has joined Harper Collins as part of the U.K. publishing program. Signature launched the first official Dinosaur King magazine in the U.K. in July. Tomy, which distributes Dinosaur King trading cards in the U.K., has plans that range from targeted competitions in kids’ press and also online and TV advertising.

Also for the U.K. and Ireland, Samuel Eden and Son is to produce socks, slipper socks, sock gift sets and phone socks, with a line to launch in spring 2011. PMS International is producing a range of amusement plush, playballs and inflatable bashers and figure across Europe in spring 2011. The amusement plush will be offered at the British theme parks Alton Towers and Thorpe Park.

Anubis Publications is set to launch a magazine for the property in Greece and Cyprus., while MC Productions recently published the first hard-cover comic books for distribution in France and French-speaking Belgium and Switzerland.
