New Kids’ Net for Hungary

BUDAPEST: Chello Central Europe is set to debut Megamax, a new channel geared to kids aged between 7 and 14, in Hungary on April 18.

Content will be dubbed into Hungarian for Megamax, which launches with a lineup that includes Transformers, Battle Force, Twisted Whiskers, Dex Hamilton, Iron Kid and Metajets.

“Megamax celebrates the core childhood concepts of fun and play and will feature rich storytelling with active, multidimensional characters and unexpected heroes," said Levente Málnay, the CEO of Chello Central Europe. "The channel will naturally benefit from the strong DNA of its sister channel, Minimax, which is already the leading kids’ channel in the region. We are hoping Megamax to soon become a strong home for an active and engaged audience."

The channle’s mascots are spark-e and i-ron, two robots from another dimension who live in the Megamax transmission station.
