LONDON/NEW YORK, October 17: Nickelodeon & Viacom
Consumer Products (NVCP) has appointed Gavin Metcalfe to the newly created
position of VP for international home entertainment, based in London.

Metcalfe reports to Jean-Philippe Randisi, the senior VP and
managing director for Canada, Europe and Latin America, and Sherice Torres, the

including release schedules, marketing plans and product development, Metcalfe
works in close ties with MTVNI’s network of channels throughout the world to
develop strategic support around key releases.

He also oversees the New York-based international
home-entertainment team, including Douglas Drohan, Eleanor Lan and Celine
Texier-Rose. Prior to joining MTV Networks, Metcalfe was the senior director of
international home entertainment for HIT Entertainment, where he was
responsible for all sales and business development for the home-entertainment
business in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

“The continued development of our international
home-entertainment business is an integral component of our overall NVCP
strategy, providing engaging, tailored viewing experiences for our audiences and
crucial synergies at retail,” said Randisi. “Gavin and his team are extremely
talented licensing executives and will help shape the next phase of our global
home-entertainment growth.”

Torres added, “Gavin’s broad knowledge of the
home-entertainment business and extensive relationships within the industry
will greatly serve NVCP as we look to diversify global distribution, create
