Beyond Distribution Secures New Post-MIPTV Sales

SYDNEY,
June 5: Following a successful market at MIPTV in April, Beyond Distribution
has concluded a raft of new sales throughout Europe and Asia and for its
factual entertainment catalogue.

Spin Music in
the U.K. licensed 12 episodes from the multi-award winning series Eyewitness. In France, AB Droits Audiovisuals secured a package of
titles that included the 13×30-minute Free, the 2×1-hour Sex Change, the 2×1-hour Secrets of the Occult (2×1-hour), the 10×30-minute Trent’s
Wild Cat Adventures
,
the 6×30-minute Is it Safe to Eat!, the 2×1-hour Hot Rod Build Off and the 2×1-hour World Biker Build
Off
. In Finland, YLE
secured the 6×30-minute Is it Safe to Eat and a package of 8 hours from the second and third season
for Lonely Planet–Six Degrees; while in Spain, TV Catalunya licensed the first and second
season of the 16×1-hour Lonely Planet.

In addition, a
package totaling 82 hours of Mythbusters has been licensed to TV Kosava in former Yugoslavia. In
the Netherlands, sales were concluded for the Private Lives series to SBS, including Born to be
Big
(1×1-hour), Private
Lives of Big People II

(1×1-hour) and Baby Charlotte (1×1-hour).

The multi award-winning 90-minute feature film Two Hands, starring Oscar-nominated actor Heath
Ledger, was snapped up by SPI International and JLJ Film Group in the Czech
Republic, the Slovak Republic and the Commonwealth of Independent States.

In Asia, Kids Central Singapore and UBC Thailand have
committed to the third installment of New MacDonald’s Farm, while Vietnam has also picked up
the first season.
Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong and Malaysia have all acquired the health and
lifestyle series What’s Good For You. Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong and Malaysia have also
picked up the breakaway health and lifestyle hit series What’s Good For You.
Sales of I Do Let’s Eat! have also been concluded with Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Hong
Kong.

Numberjacks has also been licensed for video to Singapore, Hong Kong,
Malaysia and Indonesia, while I do Let’s Eat’s! has been sold into Malaysia,
Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong.
