New Home-Video Deal for Skunk Fu!

LONDON, June 9: Cake
Distribution has secured a host of home-video deals for Skunk Fu!, including a recent agreement that covers the U.S.
and Canada.

NCircle Entertainment has
set a home-video release for Skunk Fu! for December in the U.S. and Canada, which follows on Warner Music’s
upcoming releases in the U.K., France and Australia, and Super RTL’s release in
Germany.

The 52×13-minute animated
comedy, created by Aidan Harte, is a Cartoon Saloon, Cake Entertainment and Telegael co-production for TG4 in Ireland and Super
RTL in Germany. A Skunk Fu! toy
range, developed by Croco for Galleon Holdings, will be showcased at this
week’s Licensing Show.

pleased with the opportunity to join forces with Cake to introduce Skunk Fu! to the North American
home-entertainment market,” said Debbie Ries, the senior VP and general manager
of NCircle. “The company’s recent broadcast deals with Cartoon Network USA and
YTV Canada will unquestionably expand their brand awareness, which will serve
to enhance our efforts on the retail side.”
