New Hallmark Original Movie to Spotlight Victims' Rights Activist

LOS ANGELES, December 16: Citizen
Jane
, an original movie based on
the life of Jane Alexander, a figure in the victims' rights movement, is in
development for Hallmark Channel.

The TV movie is being
produced by Grosso Jacobson Communications Corporation, with James Dalessandro
as the writer. It is tentatively slated to air in 2009.

Alexander, known by many
as "Citizen Jane," passed away on December 14 at the age of 86. She
was a national figure in the victims' rights movement, and founded the group
Citizens Against Homicide.
