New Global Distribution Head at Al Jazeera

DOHA: Roch Pellerin has been named as the new head of global distribution at Al Jazeera, tasked with overseeing international expansion efforts. 

Pellerin will be based at Al Jazeera’s Doha, Qatar, headquarters. He will report directly to Al Anstey, the director of media development at Al Jazeera Network. Prior to his appointment, Pellerin served a seven-year tenure with Disney-ESPN as the managing director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa of ESPN Classic. Prior to this he held senior roles at France’s Canal+, including serving as chief financial officer of Canal+ Distribution.

Additionally, Roch will be an essential part of Al Jazeera’s strategy to continue our expansion through various areas of new media and online platform, ensuring we reach the widest possible international audience.”
