New French Deals for Southern Star

SYDNEY, July 5: Southern Star International has secured new
deals in France with AB Droits on Meerkat
Manor and Forensic Investigators.

AB Droits acquired seasons one and two of Meerkat Manor, an Oxford Scientific Films production for Animal
Planet; and all three seasons of Forensic Investigators, produced by Southern Star Entertainment.

“We’re delighted to have
picked up these two series from Southern Star which both offer compelling
viewing in their own genres, whether it be through the drama and exceptional
footage in Meerkat Manoror through the detailed scientific investigation
of gruesome murders in Forensic Investigators,” said Cristelle Girbes, the
acquisitions manager for factual programming at the AB Groupe.
