Christian Channel Adds Youth Block

TORONTO, July 5: The Christian Channel in Canada today
launched a daily block targeted to viewers aged 13 to 30 featuring music
videos, reality programming, talk shows, extreme sports and other faith-based
content.

The block, provided by the Christian youth network
JCTV—part of the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) family of faith
channels—will air weekdays 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. "Engaging with young
Christians is an important part of our mission,” said Mark Prasuhn, the
president and GM of The Christian Channel. “We feel privileged to enjoy this
new partnership with JCTV, North America's foremost provider of Christian
programming for young viewers. It enables us to provide a lineup of
inspirational and exciting programs that will be relevant to members of this
audience here in Canada."

Among the titles airing in the block are the reality series Travel
the Road
, about two young missionaries; Xtreme
Life
, which combines extreme sports action
with a Christian message, and F.M.,
a look behind the scenes at a Christian rock radio station.
