New EVP, GM for CBS Mobile

NEW YORK, March 25: Jeff
Sellinger has been named the executive VP and general manager of CBS Mobile,
taking over for Cyriac Roeding, the current executive VP of the division, who
has decided to leave his post to pursue various entrepreneurial endeavors.

In this role, Sellinger
will oversee the division, which is dedicated to building and growing the
company’s mobile operation across its various properties—including CBS
Entertainment, CBS Sports and CBS News.

Sellinger joined CBS in
November 2005 as the director of operations for CBS Mobile, and has served as
the senior VP of the division since December 2007.

"There isn’t a part
of CBS Mobile’s operation that Jeff hasn’t had a hand in over the last three years," said Quincy Smith, the
president of CBS Interactive. "Creatively and operationally, he’s a
dynamic executive who is uniquely qualified to build on CBS Mobile’s momentum
by growing its content offerings, advertising possibilities, partnership equity
and overall reach."

Roeding commented:
"We have pushed to position CBS Mobile to the forefront of innovation at
the intersection of mobile advertising and content." He added: "It
has been a pleasure to help CBS Interactive create, build and grow its mobile
division and its extraordinary team, and I felt that my role was completed.
Under Quincy and Jeff’s leadership the division is positioned for further
exponential growth."
