New Dominion to Present Halogen TV Titles

SUFFOLK: New Dominion Pictures has secured an exclusive agreement with the soon-to-launch U.S. channel Halogen TV for the network’s library of original reality-based series, documentaries and specials.

New Dominion will represent the Halogen shows in French-speaking Canada, Spanish-speaking U.S. and internationally. The company will introduce the titles at MIPCOM. The slated includes 29 hours of shows that are focused on socially conscious themes. This includes Jump Shipp, hosted by advice guru Josh Shipp about how to avoid the so-called quarter-life crisis; Surf Life, about surfer Hagan Kelley, who is on a quest for epic waves; Tainted Love, which exposes modern-day slave trading; and The Un-Road Trip, following eco-adventurer Boaz Frankel as he travels the U.S. without using gas-powered vehicles.

“We are thrilled to be working with the talented team at Halogen TV and pleased to be expanding our programming portfolio with such a rich library of original programming that takes New Dominion into new genres,” said Kristen Eppley, the senior VP of international distribution at New Dominion. “Halogen offers a wide variety of programming from current affairs to lifestyle to humanitarian to eco-entertainment that is certain to have universal appeal.”

Marshall Nord, the VP of programming at Halogen TV, added, "We are pleased to have Halogen content represented by New Dominion in the worldwide marketplace. Going forward, this partnership allows us to expand our reach and motivate a global audience."
