New Docu-Series to Center on D.C. Socialites

LOS ANGELES, August 21: Production will begin in September
on the new Lifetime docu-series Blonde Charity Mafia, which follows three high-society 20-somethings from
Washington, D.C.

The six-episode series centers on a group of young women—Katherine
Kennedy, Krista Johnson and Sophie Pyle, known as the Blonde Charity
Mafia—who dominate the social scene of Georgetown. From glamorous
parties, fashionable clubs and the hottest restaurants, these women combine
philanthropy and high society in a quest to make their mark on Washington D.C.

Patty Ivins Specht and Julie Pizzi (Simple Life and MTV's Road Rules) serve as executive producers, with Jeff Kuntz as
the co-executive producer. Blonde Charity Mafia is produced by PB&J Television for Lifetime
Television.

Jessica Samet, the senior VP of reality programming for
Lifetime Television, said, "Katherine, Krista and Sophie are at the
epicenter of Georgetown's young cultural scene. This absorbing series will pull
the curtain back on the fragility of friendship among the beautiful, wealthy
and powerful."
