New COO for StarHub

SINGAPORE, January 6: Tan
Tong Hai has been appointed COO of StarHub, effective January 15, reporting to
Terry Clontz, the company's CEO.

Tan has more than 20 years
of experience in the regional IT, Internet and e-commerce industries. He was
the president and CEO of Singapore Computer Systems (SCS) and Pacific Internet
(PacNet), and was CEO of Asia Pacific Creation, a holding company for
e-commerce and Internet-related investments. Prior to this, Tan was the general
manager of StarHub Internet, previously known as CyberWay.

Clontz commented: "I
have known Tong Hai for ten years, beginning with his appointment in 1999 as
the general manager of StarHub Internet. Over those ten years, I observed Tong
Hai's success with Pacific Internet (PacNet) and Singapore Computer Systems
(SCS). With his track record, experience and industry knowledge, I know he is
uniquely qualified to serve as StarHub's COO. Also, his special insight will be
critical as we evolve our business to capture the opportunities arising from
IDA's Next-Generation National Broadband Network initiative. I am delighted to
welcome him back to the StarHub group, and I look forward to working with him
again."
