New CMT Series Spotlights Future In-Laws

NASHVILLE: Meet the In-Laws is a new series for CMT, to launch in January 2011, that will feature Pauly Shore providing running commentary as couples move in with their future in-laws.

The ten-episode series watches as newly engaged couples learn more about their fiancé’s family by spending a week alone with their future in-laws. Each one-hour episode features two people from different backgrounds as they move into the home of the other’s family for one week. The show is produced by ITV Studios.

"Meet the In-Laws puts a fun new twist on living under one roof with your fiancé‘s parents—illustrating the unlikely, revealing and sometimes embarrassing situations that result," said Claire McCabe, the VP original programming and development at CMT. "Host Pauly Shore will bring just the right amount of wit and heart with his play-by-play commentary, adding another dimension to this fun family show."
