LUXEMBOURG/HILVERSUM, January 18: Bert Habets, the current
CFO at RTL Nederland, has been upped to the role of CEO, effective February 1,
and will take over for Fons van Westerloo, who will join the company’s
Supervisory Board and become an advisor of RTL Group.

Habets joined RTL Group in 1999 as the project manager in
the business development unit of CLT-UFA, and was appointed as the CFO of
Holland Media Groep, which was later re-branded into RTL Nederland, in March
2001.

In August 2003, van Westerloo was named the CEO of RTL Group’s
Dutch operations, which at the time were known as Holland Media Groep. He began
his career as a newspaper journalist, and held positions at pubcaster AVRO, AT
5, RTL 5 and SBS.

Gerhard
Zeiler, the chief executive of RTL Group and chairman of the RTL
Nederland Supervisory Board, commented: “RTL Group is very grateful for the
outstanding achievements of Fons van Westerloo as CEO of RTL Nederland. In the
past four years, he successfully turned around and restructured our Dutch TV
operations. By focusing on the strong RTL brand, he has successfully developed
the country’s leading family of TV channels into a highly profitable operation.
I am looking forward to continuing to work together with Fons in the RTL
Nederland Supervisory Board and in his capacity as advisor of the company.”

Zeiler continued: “In a fast changing media landscape, Bert
Habets, who has been CFO of RTL Nederland since 2001, is the right man to guide
RTL Nederland into a new phase of its development. He is excellently qualified
to take on the big opportunities and challenges of the digital world, fully
leveraging our strong TV, radio, diversification and Internet activities in the
Netherlands.”
