New CEO for Finland’s Tarinatalo

HELSINKI: Finnish producer Tarinatalo, the outfit behind the The Happiness Project format, has tapped Aram Aflatuni, its head of development, as its new CEO.

Aflatuni has also taken a stake in the company, alongside exec producers Jukka Heinonen and Esko Naskali and former CEO Kari Tervo, who is taking the reins at Tarinatalo sister transmedia company, KOTOliving. Tervo has also been named chairman of Tarinatalo.

"I’m excited to accept this challenge," Aflatuni said of his new post. "The attitude of constant learning has been one of our key assets in delivering successful productions and I want to develop this atmosphere further."

The Happiness Project has aired in Finland and Germany and was recently licensed to a new territory.
