New Asian Lifestyle Channel Launches

SINGAPORE: Li, which is being billed as Asia’s first regional lifestyle channel in high definition, is slated to launch on SingTel’s IPTV platform mio TV this week.

Li, short for "Life Inspired", will feature content under five pillars—food, home, wellness, travel and style—sourced from across the region and around the world. The target audience for the new service is well-traveled, cosmopolitan, urban, trend-setting affluent Asians. The slate includes Iron Chef AmericaDeserving Design with Vern Yip, and HGTV Design Star.

This is the first carriage deal for Li TV Asia, which is headquartered in Malaysia and led by general manager Anne Chan.
