Network Ten Pulls Marriage Reality Show

SYDNEY, August 7: Network Ten has ceased production on the
Screentime reality show Yasmin's Getting Married due to low ratings.

“TEN has a reputation for taking risks with new formats,”
said TEN's chief programming officer, David Mott. "While we all had very
high hopes for Yasmin's Getting Married,
it is clear at this early stage that our audience has not embraced this bold
new initiative.”

The series followed a young woman in her quest for a life
partner. Its debut outing registered less than 800,000 viewers.

Futurama will fill
the 7 p.m. weeknight slot while TEN explores other options for the time period.
