Network Ten Bolsters Management Team

SYDNEY: Network Ten has appointed Lisa Fitzpatrick as its director of development and production.

Fitzpatrick will report to David Mott, the chief programming officer. Fitzpatrick will be responsible for the creative execution of all Network Ten’s domestic productions, excluding news and sport, as well as overseeing the new creative development unit. She takes up the new post as of June 12.

James Warburton, Network Ten’s CEO, said: “We are delighted a television executive as talented and experienced as Lisa is joining Ten to work with David on building and deepening our content lineup. Lisa’s appointment and the new creative development unit are key planks in our strategy to renew our creative content and to ensure we are meeting and exceeding viewers’ expectations.”

Mott added: “I have known Lisa for many years and she is one of the best television executives around. Lisa’s proven track record in production and development, as well as her relationships with the production community here and abroad, made her the natural candidate. Her appointment highlights our commitment to increasing our investment in creative people and content.”
