NBCU Names New Executive VP

NEW YORK, February 12: Dan Renaldo has been appointed the
executive VP of television production for NBC Universal’s technology and
operations business, effective immediately.

Renaldo will be responsible for the leadership of all
television production operations and production activities including the NBC
Television Network, NBC News, NBC Sports, NBC Entertainment and NBCU Cable. He
will also have technology and operations oversight of NBC’s owned and operated
stations, as well as Telemundo. Additionally, he will spearhead the design and
implementation of new-media multi-platform strategies, and will create short-
and long-term strategic plans for all production and post-production television
operations.

Renaldo’s appointment at NBCU marks his return to the
company, where he spent 15 years in various positions—including a key
role in the launch of MSNBC—before moving to ABC News in 2001. At ABC
News, Renaldo most recently served as the senior VP of finance, operations and
business development.

“We're pleased to welcome Dan back to NBC Universal,” said
John Eck, the president of NBC Television Network and Media Works, to whom
Renaldo reports. “He is an exceptional leader whose strong background in news,
operations and business development make him an ideal addition to our core management
structure. His expertise will be invaluable as we leverage technology to adapt
to the rapidly changing digital marketplace.”
