NBCU Expands Greek Offerings

LONDON: NBC Universal is set to launch the Universal Channel in Greece, debuting exclusively on Conn-x TV, the IPTV platform of OTE.

Universal Channel offers a range of series and movies from the likes of Universal Studios, Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation and CBS Paramount. The launch night premieres include The Day after Tomorrow, Law & Order and Eureka. Universal Channel will show a range of TV series that will be seen for the first time in Greece. This includes Flipping Out, Flashpoint and Nurse Jackie. Also showing are the NBC series 30 Rock, The Office, My Name is Earl and Malcolm in the Middle. Sunday nights feature content from NBCU’s SCI FI Channel, including Stargate, Dragonheart and Terminator 2. The network also features a host of Hollywood movies, among them Master and Commander and Notting Hill.
