NBC Shuffles Schedule

UNIVERSAL CITY, October 27: NBC has updated its Wednesday night
schedule, relocating Life to a 9 p.m.
slot, where it leads into Law & Order,
and shifting Lipstick Jungle to
Friday nights, where it will follow Crusoe.

In addition, the premiere of Momma's
Boys
, a new reality series from Ryan Seacrest and
Andrew Glassman, has been pushed back from November 12 till December 16. It
will air in its regular slot on Mondays at 9 p.m. beginning December 22, after Heroes wraps its current volume on
December 15.

In a joint announcement, Ben Silverman and Marc Graboff, the co-chairmen of NBC Entertainment and Universal
Media Studios, said: "These moves will play to the shows' mutual strengths
and will help us to reinforce our lineup. A Wednesday night with wall-to-wall
satisfying mysteries and great dramas—paced by the return of the original
Law & Order to its home on
Wednesdays—will provide creative continuity that night. Fridays will
feature escapist drama with Lipstick
Jungle
joining Crusoe.
Additionally, this strategy for Momma's
Boys
offers the show a more favorable launch platform."
