NBC Lines Up January '09 Premieres

UNIVERSAL
CITY, November 26: NBC has unveiled its January 2009 grid, which features a
heavy lineup of reality, including the dance competition Superstars of Dance and hidden-camera show Howie Do It, while Lipstick
Jungle
has not been slated.

Also
absent from the January schedule are Medium,
Kings, Life, Chuck and Heroes. NBC will make a second
announcement covering February and March premieres at a later date.

The two-hour
debut of Superstars of Dance, from
the producers of So You Think You Can
Dance?
, will be broadcast on January 4 at 9 p.m. The series resumes in its
regular day and time on January 5 at 8 p.m. The show's season finale will air
on January 26. Superstars of Dance
will be followed on Mondays by Momma's
Boys
, the new series from executive producer Ryan Seacrest.

On Tuesdays,
beginning January 6, NBC will broadcast The
Biggest Loser: Couples
, followed by the latest season of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

Howie Do It, a hidden-camera show starring Deal or No Deal host Howie Mandel,
debuts on January 9. The show will air Fridays at 8 p.m. Friday Night Lights will return to NBC's Friday-night lineup on
January 16.

NBC will
showcase the new specials Saturday Night
Live Sports Extra
on January 4 at 7 p.m. and Saturday Night Live Film Festival on January 18 at 9 p.m. Dateline NBC will feature a Presidential
Inauguration Day Special on January 20 at 10 p.m. An original movie event
featuring The Last Templar is slated
for January 25 and 26. NBC will air this year's Golden Globe Awards on January
11 at 8 p.m.
