NBC & DreamWorks Team for Holiday Specials

UNIVERSAL CITY: NBC is to offer holiday-themed original animated half-hour specials from DreamWorks Animation, based on the hit movies Shrek and Kung Fu Panda.

Scared Shrekless will feature the green ogre and all of his friends from the blockbuster feature-film franchise. The Halloween-themed special is scheduled to air on NBC on October 28 at 8 p.m. Kung Fu Panda Holiday Special features Po the Panda from the 2008 film Kung Fu Panda. The special will air November 24 at 8:30 p.m. and again on December 4 at 8:30 p.m. DreamWorks Animation will release both its new holiday TV specials into the home-entertainment market in 2011.
