NATPE Returning to Miami

LOS ANGELES: NATPE will return to the Fontainebleau Resort from January 23 to 25, 2012, with the organization committing to the Miami Beach location for two markets through 2013.

“Moving to Miami in 2011 was a great success for the international community we serve and we received overwhelmingly positive responses from those who attended,” said Rich Feldman, the president and CEO of NATPE. “We saw a big increase in attendees from the United States, Europe and Latin America and every indication has been that a considerable amount of business was done.”

The 2011 market, its first held at the Fontainebleau, hosted a total of 4,850 executives from 70 countries, a 35-percent gain on the 2010 exhibition in Las Vegas. There were 272 global exhibiting countries represented, a 20-percent increase, and 780 content buyers and acquisitions execs attended, a 116-percent spike from 2010.
